A technological development process model for the introduction of the new Ril 400 rule book
The DB InfraGO AG public service infrastructure company intends to introduce the new “Digital Operating Rule Book for ETCS Only” (Richtlinie (Ril) 400) u nder European Train Control System Level 2 without any trackside signals (ETCS L2oS) . One challenge involves dovetailing this project with the technological development already undertaken by Digital Rail for Germany (DSD). A process model for the introduction of Ril 400 in connection with an upcoming DSD release is proposed below.
