Thales operations control system solution for Hamburg Port Authority (HPA)
The Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) awarded Thales with a contract for implementing for Hamburg Port Railways a modern operations control centre and train describer systems for the train and shunting yard traffic. The solution is based on the components Aramis ZN L2000 and ZNE L2000 of the product family Rail Network Management (NetTrac). This modernization shall allow, among other things, to cope with the forecasted traffic increase. The order was awarded to Thales in autumn 2007 and the system will be put into operative service in summer 2008.
