Intermodal passenger travel information systems with the Actual-Data-Server
The Actual-Data-Server aims to provide intermodal passenger information for travellers and to raise the level of customer satisfaction significantly. The implementation of Rimos shows that this system is not restricted to local use by transport associations, but acts as a central data pool for the entire region. Based on the experience accumulated during the project in the course of the last few years, the Actual-Data-Server at the VRR has been expanded in order to link up an entire region and supply the real-time data to the information systems.
