East Rail Line in Hong Kong equipped with CBTC from Siemens
In Hong Kong, the East Rail Line has been extended by 4.6 km, and at the same time the automation of the entire 46 km long line has been completed using CBTC from Siemens. It connects the Chinese mainland with the central business districts on Hong Kong Island and is now the fourth rail line to cross Victoria Harbour. Siemens equipped a total of 16 stations on the East Rail Line with its CBTC technology.
