Digital checking tools for the new digital interlocking
The digital interlocking (DSTW) is a key pillar of the “Digital Rail Germany” vision. Multiple new approaches have been taken into account for its specifications and development. This becomes readily apparent when looking at the new DSTW’s architecture. When commissioning a new interlocking, it is necessary to ensure that all the subsystems are working properly. This requires the use of the sophisticated testing strategies and specific testing tools described below.
