Digital tools for relay interlocking diagnostics and condition assessment
While the latest generation of LST systems are commonly already equipped with interface functions to obtain diagnostic information ex-works, the situation with relay interlockings is quite different. There, the condition of both the interlocking’s components and the current state of the system as a whole can rarely be assessed with sufficient precision.
