Protocol converters for retrofitting EULYNX to relay interlocking systems
The modernisation of railway signalling requires a balance between costly replacements and extending the lifetime of legacy assets. This is even more relevant when considering the strategic transition to EULYNX interfaces. Is there a smart way to approach this? This article presents a good approach to implementing EULYNX. The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency’s (FTIA) POKA project is provided as a use case for the retrofitting of the EULYNX SCI-CC interface to relay interlockings.
