Integrating a new level crossing protection technology into the Fast Track Program at DB Netz
In the course of standardizing the planning and implementation
of future projects in the field of control and safety
technology (LST) at DB Netz AG, with the aim of shortening
the lead time to commissioning, the client has awarded seven
projects in the Fast Track Program (SLP) to test the acceleration
to commissioning of the new interlockings on the basis
of the NeuPro concept (realignment of production control),
which has been transferred to Digital Rail Germany (DSD).
In three of these projects, Pintsch GmbH is building the required
interfaces as well as the level crossing protection technology
to the electronic interlockings (D(E)STW). Depending
on the type of interlocking (with / without SCI-LX interface),
the connection is made via copper cable or Ethernet
(RaSTA). The new processes, as well as the technologies,
are the economic response of DB Netz AG as well as Pintsch
GmbH to the challenges of the control and safety technology
of the future.
