End position detector systems – safety on the right track
End position detectors are essential components of turnout safety systems. At the same time, a distinction is made between testing the position of the rail at the tip of the switch assembly or the movable frog on the one hand and testing the rear area of the movable rail section up to the fixed point on the other hand.
