The 6th Railway Forum took place in Berlin on 01. and 02.10.2019. Uwe Günther, the Chief Purchasing Officer at DB (CPO), requested support for DB from its suppliers so that the political expectations of a considerable contribution being made to climate protection can be met. The competitiveness of rail transport depends on the quality of its suppliers and Günther emphasised that, with 140 companies and 1400 participants, the forum had exceeded all previous meetings.
