NBS Ulm–Wendlingen: Railway technology from Rhomberg and Swietelsky
A consortium consisting of Rhomberg Bahntechnik GmbH and Swietelsky Baugesellschaft m.b.H. has been awarded the contract for the construction of the new track from Wendlingen to Ulm and for equipping it with railway technology. The contract worth approximately 250 million EUR includes the construction of almost 118 km of ballastless track, including more than 60 km in tunnels, and 16 sets of points, as well as the installation of the 50-Hz, telecommunication and traction current supply equipment....
