Monitoring point controllers and point heater remote control for trams

Electric points at intersections and crossings in tram line networks are activated by micro-processor controllers and generally work autonomously. Points must be heated to ensure they remain free of snow in winter. Point heaters and point controllers do not just require maintenance, but they also have to be continuously monitored in order to ensure prompt failure detection and prevent operational disruptions.
