Validation of EBICAB 2000 According to CENELEC
In this article, a process for system validation of generic on-board train protection systems will be presented while taking into consideration the CENELEC requirements. The test is the integral part of all necessary activities required for the safety case. Accordingly, all test activities are integrated in a total process which includes quality management, safety management, verification and validation as well as the test. The planning of activities depends on a large extent of the specific features of the product to be developed and must be tailored to this product.
