Quality of Service

The rail travel share of the transport market is an important indicator of the health of the rail service offering including its whole supply chain. Quality of Service (QoS) is one basis for differentiation with other transport modes that can produce positive change in market share. The fact that the rail travel share does not increase is an evidence that the QoS delivered to the customers is not sufficient.
