Railway Level Crossings – a good solution or necessary evil
Level crossings of railways and roads constitute an eternal collision problem of two basic modes of land transport. Does it have to come to so many accidents in these places? Among many answers and opinions represent-ing the interests of both sides, we have to find the will to understand and to solve this problem. This is not an easy task: it requires many compromise solutions, and agreements between authorities and entities responsible for the transport modes – but it is achievable.
