The Thales electronic interlocking LockTrac 6111 ESTW L90 was introduced in the Romanian signalling market in the year 2004. The latest ongoing project of Thales and the Romanian Railway is a modernisation project on the line from Bucharest to Constanta on the Black Sea. ESTW L90 was originally designed to control medium or large stations and complete lines. Now the sustained improvement of ESTW L90 enables small stations to be implemented economically. The operation and control system has been significantly modernized and the new operator’s work place NetTrac 6656 HIS has been introduced.
