DSL data transmission in ESTW L90
After long being successful in telecommunication, DSL technology provides high bandwidth on the existing cable infrastructure for the transmission of safety applications. In the project Weiden – Vilseck it was demonstrated that remote decentralized electronic interlocking processors can be connected via SHDSL to an ESTW (electronic interlocking) control centre.
