Moving together – acquisition completed
Since 30.01.2021 the name Bombardier Transportation is history. The day before, Alstom had announced the completion of the takeover of its former competitor and erased its name. According to its own information, the new industry giant employs about 75,000 people in 70 countries worldwide. This makes the company the second largest manufacturer of railway technology, after the Chinese group CRRC, with which it is increasingly competing. (jsh)
