Poland: Upgrade completed on E65 railway line
An Alstom-led consortium has completed the delivery of its ERTMS/ETCS Level 2 signalling solution for the E65 railway line to be upgraded, connecting Warsaw in central Poland with Gdynia in the north of the country. This project was based on a contract previously signed with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.. The delivery of the modern technology for the 350 km long line, which includes 35 stations and connects Warsaw with Gdynia, will enable train traffic at a speed of 200 km/h.
