Since the Frauscher Tracking Solutions (FTS) based on Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) were presented in 2016, significant progress has been made in continuing to develop this technology for use in the railway sector. International installations have provided numerous insights into various influencing factors, data processing and the relevant solutions.
