Digitisation is causing significant winds of change in many industries. The digitisation of established system environments has always been at the centre of my activities during my ten years at Scheidt & Bachmann to date. A lot has happened during this period: all ticket information is now stored in the cloud rather than on the ticket. Point-of-sale systems run in a tablet PC browser. And a smartphone is all you need to pay your parking fee.
