Four intensive days with the theme of mobility are now behind us; InnoTrans 2018 was able to post yet another exhibitor and trade visitor record as the world’s leading trade fair. Around 160000 trade visitors from more than 110 countries came to Berlin in order to examine the 400 innovations and 155 world premieres presented by the 3062 exhibiters. Correspondingly, the branch experts at InnoTrans also discussed the feasibility study issued by the McKinsey business consultancy, which stated that the comprehensive rollout of the European ERTMS/ETCS train control and protection systems and the simultaneous implementation of digital interlocking technology in Germany are economically viable....
