Delok – jointless rail break detector
Delok is a rail break detector without any insulated rail joints. This diagnostic device works on the principle of measuring the input impedance of an electric track section ( Z IN-ETS). The device’s basic operating state detects the clearance of the track section (TS) or its occupancy by a train. An eventual rail break is detected according to the Z IN-ETS input impedance value, while both the magnituide and the argument of this diagnostic parameter is evaluated.
