My first statement in the Signalling+Datacommunication magazine 11/1996 was about the cooperation concerning SIMIS-C interlocking systems between Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Norway and Finland. It was a user collaboration for the technology platform as aim to reduce life-cycle costs. The collaboration continued successfully for several years until the need for joint development work of the platform expired.
