VDB: Delivery and performance matrix for the retrofitting of ETCS OBUs
Sufficient numbers of rail vehicles equipped with ETCS on-board units are a decisive factor for accelerated digitisation of the infrastructure while avoiding double equipment with different CCS It is therefore all the more important to find a quick start for equipping existing vehicles with ETCS on-board units. Using a delivery and performance matrix (LuL), the German Railway Industry Association (VDB) systematically lists the criteria for structuring ETCS-OBU equipment projects.
