Unmanned technologies are actively being developed in all transport industries. Significant progress has been made in the area of driverless aerial vehicles and huge efforts are being made in order to create driverless cars. The difficulties in developing driverless trains are related to the long braking distances and the necessity of having on-board sensors capable of detecting obstacles at an appropriate range.
