Predictive failure recognition and maintenance for interlockings
In contrast to the vehicles, which can trigger both positive and negative emotions in the passengers using passenger transport, the infrastructure is clearly only seen as a “means to an end” from the point of view of both transported passengers and goods. This leads to correct functionality and a high level of availability being taken for granted and only then being perceived negatively whenever a fault occurs. Such faults usually take the form of a delay, which must be avoided.
