Example of an application for an ATO-risk analysis user guide

The principles used for deriving the safety integrity requirements of future automated functions on mainline railways have been developed in the “Risk Acceptance Criteria for Automated Driving on Rail” project (ATO-RISK) [6]. The influence of the operating context on the resulting safety integrity requirements has been emphasised and substantiated by means of a user guide.
