Modern signalling technology for three heavily frequented railway stations in South Africa

Siemens Mobility and the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) have installed a new signalling system at Johannesburg Park, Braamfontein and Pretoria stations in the South African province of Gauteng. Currently, 40 of the 92 stations in Gauteng have already been equipped with new signalling systems in order to update the operations control technology in the province's long-distance network. Gauteng is the most populous province with three of the five largest cities in South Africa.
