A work model for installing ETCS systems in low series vehicles
The rollout of ETCS (European Train Control System) infrastructure requires the installation of ETCS onboard units in a large number of vehicles and vehicle types. While some vehicle types exist in the market in large fleets, there are also many vehicle types where the fleet is small or the vehicles are even unique. Each vehicle type requires a high degree of engineering with associated costs.
