Train radio sector: Funkwerk cooperates with PKP Telkol
Funkwerk has gained a new partner in the GSM-R train radio sector: PKP Telkol will assume responsibility for the distribution of the MESAÒ series products in Poland in the future. The cooperation between Funkwerk and PKP Telkol is focused on the equipment, retrofitting and maintenance of radio systems in locomotives. By the end of 2024 at the latest, Poland wants to have converted the analogue train radio system to the digital GSM-R standard. The Polish partner also openly expresses his appreciation for the German company: Zbigniew Stężyński, Sales Manager of PKP Telkol, emphasizes that the implementation of such a large number of Cab-Radios in such a short time required cooperation between the company with the largest implementation and maintenance resources in the country – PKP Telkol – and the largest manufacturer – Funkwerk....
