Railway communication as the backbone of railway digitisation
In a recent edition of Signal+ Draht, it was possible to read that “ GSM-R has been designed with a focus on railway operational requirements and it supports the required functionality quite well. The services offered by GSM-R have been field proven and deliver unmatched reliability. At the same time, however, GSM-R is facing challenges .” [2].
