Reconstruction of the “even” points area with a PRORIS-H interlocking system
Like several stations in the Hungarian railway network, Szombathely consists of several station facilities, namely the passenger station denoted with the “even” points and the freight station denoted with the “odd” points. These two areas are separated by the central points area. The station, the operation of which GySEV assumed from MÁV on 11 December, 2011, has a mechanical interlocking with light signals combined with an Integra model relay interlocking.
