EURO-INTERLOCKING - Future standards for interlockings in Europe
On 1st January 1999, the UIC launched the EURO - INTER-LOCKING project with the aim to significantly reduce life cycle costs of future interlockings in Europe. Through a dedicated commitment by the participating railways and in close association with interlocking suppliers and national safety authorities, integrated standards for future interlockings in Europe are now being developed.
