Development, design and manufacturing follow the principle of extending maintenance and inspection intervals as well as minimizing the total life cycle costs. SPHEROLOCK® excels due to its high reliability, easy installation, easy adjustment and very low costs for inspection and maintenance. The new locking system is performing very well at class one railroads like ÖBB, Queensland Rail in Australia, Spoornet in South Africa, in suburban traffic areas at Vienna Metro, Metro Athens and “Kölner Verkehrsbetriebe” (Cologne), as well as in industrial areas, for example at “LAUBAG”, a coal mining railway in Germany.
