RBC interface to existing interlocking systems in Finland
ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) is the new automatic train operation system, which has different technical levels classified according to the functionality. Level 2, which will be the optional choice to be used in future in Finland, requires radio transmission for transmitting movement authority from the interlocking system to the on-board unit.
