Digital shunting interlocking systems are tailored to the operating requirements of shunting and ancillary areas in terms of their functional safety, performance and availability. Part 2 of this article, the first part of which was published in Signal+Draht 12/2021, describes the deployment of the Pintsch Pinmovio 400 interlocking system in the refurbished interlocking technology at the Schaarbeek Maintenance Depot, near Brussels in Belgium.
