Kontron Transportation wins GSM-R project
In a consortium led by Siemens Mobility, Kontron Transportation is to provide a turnkey GSM-R system for the “Egypt High Speed Rail Project”. A new electrified high-speed rail network, some 2000 km long, will connect 60 cities across Egypt. Kontron Transportation will supply the latest technology in railway radio communication for the project, which is fully compliant with UIC standards.
