Intelligent emergency tunnel lighting enhances safety
Dangerous situations in tunnels call for rapid action to guide passengers and train personnel to safe areas. It is vital that the escape routes are illuminated. The current technical specifications for safety in railway tunnels stipulate that the luminaires should be installed as low as possible above the walkway or integrated into the handrail.
