Nevertheless, we also anticipate that this topic will represent a major challenge for all the parties involved. Digitisation is currently progressing in all areas, both in the economy and in the private sphere, and Deutsche Bahn has set itself the ambitious goal of increasing punctuality, improving quality and significantly increasing capacity in the existing network through the use of digital interlocking systems and modern ETCS techno-logy.
