November 2000 | Søren Levinsen

The new Øresund Fixed Link has been inaugurated the 1st of July 2000. For the new railway line across the sea an interface is needed to the Swedish interlocking made necessary by the fact that all previous railway links to Sweden have been by means of railway ferries. To lize the delivery there were the following main activities: System adaptation (to specific Øresund needs), engineerin, production, installation, testing. The activities included safety validation of adaptation, engineering, and testing to verify that safety rules were adhered on both sides of the interface.
