A cost comparison of innovative train integrity control
Innovative systems for on-board train integrity control are being developed in the Shift2Rail joint undertaking’s innovation program for advanced traffic management & control systems for the purpose of reducing the numbers of trackside axle counters or track circuits. The German Aerospace Center (DLR) has conducted a study of the life cycle costs (LCC).
