Innovations in CBTC applications
Moving block operations, i.e. driving at braking distance, is the basis for the highest possible throughput and thus the best possible utilisation of a metro system. This function is a core component of communications-based train control systems (CBTC). Increasing connectivity options and the harnessing of data from surrounding systems have created ideal conditions for digital solutions based on CBTC systems that make operations even more efficient and economical.
