Pintsch digital level crossing protection technology for DB Netz AG
The need to bundle the services of the various providers of control and safety systems, i.e. to create secure standardised interfaces and move them to a common architecture, has become obvious in the course of standardising the interfaces to the electronic interlockings (ESTW) that have been progressively introduced into areas of the German railways since the 1980s. The dedicated Neuausrichtung der Produktionssteuerung (NeuPro) program was launched under the leadership and participation of DB Netz AG at the beginning of the 21st century and it has since become the Digitale Schiene Deutschland (DSD) – Digital Rail Germany....
