Modernised signalling technology for Metro in Medellín, Colombia
Siemens Mobility has received an order from Metro de Medellín, Colombia, to modernize the track-side signalling technology on Line A and the Patio de Bello train control center. The contract includes system design, implementation and certification of the trackside signalling system. In addition, the interaction between the on-board systems of the trains and the track-side infrastructure will be optimized. The contract is worth 42 million EUR.
