1st ETCS Integration Workshop in Israel
Within the upcoming years, Israel Railways Ltd. (ISR) is going to implement ETCS Level 2 on its network. This way, safety shall be increased and major capacity bottlenecks shall be overcome as well (cf. S+D 10/18). After contracting GSM-R installation, ETCS trackside implementation and ETCS onboard retrofitting, ISR invited all involved parties to the 1st integration workshop. The event was hold on 12/13th March in the new company headquarters in Lod, south of Tel Aviv. 134 participants followed the invitation, thereof more than half the number coming from abroad....
