An empirical look at plan inspections in the digital age – necessity and requirements
The plan inspection for plan parts 1 and 2 (PP 1/2) is firmly anchored in the planning and realisation process of safety-related systems. An independent expert plan inspector (PI) determines whether the recognised rules of technology (RRT) have been complied with for the specific implementation of a new or modified railway signalling system.
