Innovative cooperation for the CCS infrastructure at the Stuttgart Digital Node
Deutsche Bahn AG (DB) and Thales are breaking new ground in terms of cooperation in order to equip the first German railway node with digital interlockings and ETCS Level 2 without Class B systems. The ETCS Level 2 specifications in particular have been put to the test, their suitability for nodes has been demonstrated and some necessary improvements have been cooperatively developed in light of the new and changed requirements. The procedure has proved to be successful for both sides.
