KI-LOK – A joint project dealing with test procedures for AI-based components in railway operations
The KI-LOK joint project was started in April 2021 by the partners FOKUS (Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft), ITPower Solutions GmbH, neurocat GmbH and GTS Deutschland. The project reported on its goals and challenges in detail in issue 10/2021 of the Signal+Draht trade journal. In this issue, the project will report on the initial results from its four task domains [8]: Case Studies and approval strategies, validation and verification techniques for ML (machine learning), model-based testing of AI-based (AI: artificial intelligence) railway technology components, validation methods and associated tool chains....
