A versatile test component based on the EULYNX Subsystem Point
With the advent of standardised modular signalling architectures, the external validation and verification of corresponding subsystems from signalling suppliers has grown increasingly in importance, e.g. to prove conformity with the standard and interoperability with other subsystems. This can be done by testing single subsystems through to complete systems. The insight that the same subsystem will play different roles in different tests has led to the idea of a “versatile test component”.
